Corned beef and cabbage is served during the week at Pup’s Irish Pub and Pine Tree Supper Club on Hwy 54 in North Dublin (Northport) and places such as The Waters, Hilby’s, Family Diner and many other fine local establishments in New Dublin (New London).
Wednesday March 17 - Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Irish Caroling at St. Joseph Residence and Franklin Park apartments. It’s a great way to learn all the traditional Irish sing-a-longs. Song sheets are provided. Meet in the lobby of St. Joseph’s at 5:00 pm.
Thursday March 18
Irish Entertainment Night • 7:00 pm at the New London High School auditorium. Talented artists from the New Dublin area present a moving evening of Irish entertainment on stage that features songs, dances, and the humor of Ireland. We will also introduce 2021 Irish Man & Irish Rose, Bob & Terri Murphy and Grand Marshall, Dorothy Neilson and the Irish Lad & Lassie (TBA). It’s great family entertainment. Free admission, donations appreciated.
Friday March 19
Irish Céili (kay-lee) • 7:00 pm – At the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility. A traditional social gathering of friends and family for music & dance. Learn Irish dance steps or just watch with the caller Bob Pillsbury and Ceili band Flip of the Coin. Free admission, donations appreciated.
Saturday March 20
St. Patrick’s Day Grand Parade • 1:00 pm – Downtown. Wisconsin’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parade includes an extensive lineup of bagpipe & marching bands, festive clowns, specialty units, clans, business floats, and more–up to 125 units or more. Prizes are awarded for the best entries. View the Parade Route.
New Dublin Irish Fest • 11:00 am to 6:00 pm – Three bands will play as well as Irish food, beverages, and market booths. Held downtown under a huge heated tent by Festival Foods. Entrance to Irish Fest is $5.00 for the whole day. The bands for 2020 will be Sheamus Fitzpatrick and the McNally Boys from 11-12:30, Tallymoore from 1-2:30 and The Scrubbers from 3-6. Lots of great entertainment for sure!!

Police department reminder: Do not place chairs out on the sidewalk the night before the parade or until the snow has been cleared from the side walk. Open intoxicants are prohibited. Animals are prohibited on public property at events as per city ordinance (pdf).
